Replace bath/shower unit with a walk-in shower
Received a quick reply to my Checkatrade job request with a prompt inspection visit from David and a quotation 48hrs later. The job was completed by Paul in just 2 days (was expecting up to 4) and the quality of the install is excellent.
Paul took great care to clean up all waste at the end of each day and I am very happy with the result.

Dave did a great job taking our ideas and putting it to paper and made it happen. There wasn’t anything that he thought was impossible and even suggested things we didn't think of. His guys that did the work were courteous, professional, and patient.
Always communicating with us and making sure we understood what was going on and happy with decisions. They are also perfectionists cause the attention to detail in everything they did is immaculate; tiles perfectly laid, and old drain pipe locations are unnoticeable
I would highly recommend them to anyone renovating their bathrooms.

Bathroom fitting
From the planning through to fitting my new bathroom the experience was amazing. The workamanship is second to none and nothing is ever too much trouble. Martin fitted my bathroom and he has done a fantastic job - I love it.
On day one he put carpet protector on the stairs and tidied up at the end of every day - you wouldn’t even know I was having work done it was so clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend DH plumbing and bathrooms and would have no hesitation on calling them again should I ever need more work doing

Initial advice from Dave was friendly, realistic and sensible for our needs and costings were supplied promptly. Dave visited regularly to introduce his team and to check both he and we were happy with progress.
The team themselves were great - friendly, engaging and polite and always mindful of the upheaval they were causing - hoovering and cleaning were undertaken regularly. The quality of the work is brilliant - attention to detail has been at the forefront of the job, integrated seamlessly with getting the basics of the job bang on correct.
The finished results have exceeded expectations.

Bathroom installation
Dave stepped in (another fitter left us with limited facilities). Itemised bill was clear and accurate, I was told what would happen and when deliveries would arrive.
Paul the fitter took on three bathrooms. He did preparation/pipework/tiling/fit of sanitary ware. Paul's work was excellent. Dave was available to answer any queries - most important, the price of job did not change. Dave supplied 10 new radiators, also fitted by Paul.
We are extremely happy with all work completed and would definitely recommend this company.

Mum and Dad were so impressed with the first job DH did of laying Quickstep flooring to their bathroom, that they had them back again, and they did not disappoint, another excellent job done to replace shower doors and make the bathroom look like new! Very happy.

Full shower suite replacement
Straight talking and honest company, Dave runs the show and is very helpful and always remained in contact when needed.
Shower suite was installed by Lucijan, professional and lovely bloke, loved our dog and her him. Work was done to a highest standard and nothing wrong with it so far.
My only complaint is that the supplier sent the wrong mermaid panel, I contacted them and dave ordered the correct panel, so it was the suppliers problem, but it was corrected quickly

Exceptional service from initial visit for quote to last visit by electrician for final commissioning.
Excellent communications throughout by all trades concerned, nothing was too much trouble, in fact additional works were added as we went along. Would definitely recommend, not the cheapest but the quality of workmanship is outstanding and true professionalism and respect shown by Dave and his team throughout the duration of the project.

We chose D.H. Plumbing and Bathrooms Ltd. to install a new shower room. Dave was professional, friendly and very reliable. He kept in contact with us at all stages, listened to our requests and offered some very valuable design ideas.
His team were excellent. Very highly skilled, punctual , tidy and helpful. They removed an existing bath,shower ,etc and installed a new walk-in shower, toilet,basin ,lights and bespoke bathroom furniture, - all of high quality.

Complete Bathroom revamp
Dave and his team did a complete revamp of our Bathroom.
During the process it was clear to see that previous works by others had left the floor under the tiles in a terrible condition. As such Dave replaced the completed wooden floor structure before laying the new bathroom floor. He also had his team redirect old and badly laid piping to ensure a flat floor finish.
P-Bath + Toilet + Sink + Shower + Tiling + Boarding + Plastering + Decorating + Electrical (Extractor and piping added into loft). Very considerate, cleaned after daily work.

Two complete new bathrooms b3
The whole team did an excellent job and transformed both bathrooms. They listened to our requirements and were flexible enough to make changes to individual items which we re-specified at the last minute. Can't praise them enough, a really good job done.
If we ever need any further bathroom work done in the future we will not call anyone else.

To correct the errors of my 1st contractor
My bathroom was converted into a wet room (06/02/2023) by a outfit that did not and could not deliver (even after a second attempt to correct). After seeking professional help to correct the errors of the original contractors I was fortunate enough to stumble across DH Pluming and Bathrooms (Dave Hawkins and Paul).
These guys restored my faith in contractors and the fact they pride themselves in what they do and not what they can take.

An excellent job , there was a problem with the new sink unit/cupboard damaged on arrival with the courier but that was sorted out that day and a replacement sent,I can honestly say they did an excellent job and we are well pleased with the results,I have no problems with recommending them

Replacing a shower
What a fantastic job they did. Martin, their main man on the job, was very knowledgeable and extremely competent and, as well as being professional, he was very polite and turned up when he said he would every day. His team cleaned up after themselves and left the job neat and tidy.
The other member of the company I met was Dave who was a manager. Again he was extremely polite and listend very carefully to me when I explained what I required then drew up plans to replicate what I wanted.
I would highly recommend this company to anyone who wanted work doing on their bathroom.
